GRUPO PIOLETMEXA S.A.P.I. de C.V. (hereinafter, “PIOLET”) warrants to the original buyer that PIOLET chillers purchased exclusively through the official PIOLET website or through official sales channels and authorized sellers, including without limitation Amazon, Mercado Libre, Liverpool, Elektra, and other digital or physical channels authorized by PIOLET, will be free from manufacturing and material defects under normal use conditions for a period of twelve (12) months counted from the date the carrier confirms delivery of the product to the end customer. This warranty applies only to the original buyer and is not transferable.

The PIOLET Polar Pro® is designed and authorized for residential and commercial use, provided it is operated according to its design, technical specifications, and user manual. The PIOLET Polar S® is designed and authorized exclusively for residential use. Any commercial, professional, institutional, or intensive use of the PIOLET Polar S® is an express violation of this warranty and automatically voids it without exception.

SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY

During the warranty period, PIOLET will cover functional failures attributable exclusively to manufacturing or material defects in the following product components: housing and structure, including structural failures such as cracks, detachment, or deformation that affect normal operation; cooling and heating system when applicable, including compressor, heat exchanger, and sealed refrigeration system; electrical and control components, including control panel, temperature sensors, electronic boards, and control system; hydraulic and sanitization system when applicable, including internal pump, internal connections, and factory-included filtration components; and any other factory-installed component not expressly excluded in this document.

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not cover damage during transport after the product has been delivered to the end customer; normal wear from use, including filters, consumables, external hoses, and items subject to periodic maintenance; cosmetic damage that does not affect performance or product safety; damage from negligence, abuse, incorrect operation, or failure to follow the user manual; failures caused by incorrect electrical installations, voltage variations, lack of grounding, or use of extensions not recommended; damage from freezing of water inside the system, lack of draining, or incorrect storage; damage from acts of God, force majeure, or external causes, including fire, flood, earthquake, storms, vandalism, or theft; and costs of disassembly, reinstallation, site adaptations, equipment transport, or loss of use.

MISUSE OF THE EQUIPMENT AND WARRANTY VOIDANCE

The following are considered misuse of the PIOLET chiller. They automatically void this warranty and may cause irreversible equipment damage or risk of electric shock, among others: installation in enclosed spaces without adequate ventilation or with less than 40 cm of free space around the unit; blocking grilles or fans; exposure to rain, direct sun, or temperatures below 1 °C with water inside; placement on unstable surfaces; operation with wet hands; direct water splashes on panels or ventilation; partial or full immersion of the equipment in water; use of extensions without physical ground or without surge protection; handling wiring with the equipment powered on; operation at a voltage other than 106–127 V / 60 Hz; turning the equipment on without water or with valves closed; use of corrosive chemicals, chlorine, or solvents inside the circuit; failure to clean filters and the dust screen; opening, modifying, or internally handling the equipment; outdoor use without protection; use of liquids other than water; and any commercial use of the PIOLET Polar S®.

WHAT PIOLET WILL DO

At its sole discretion, PIOLET may repair the product at no parts cost, replace the defective component, or replace the equipment with one of equivalent value and features when repair is not viable. Replacement parts may be new or refurbished. Replacement equipment retains only the remaining time of the original warranty. PIOLET will not assume costs of installation, uninstall, transport, site adaptations, or indirect damages from product unavailability.

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

To make this warranty valid, the customer must present proof of purchase issued by an official channel, clearly describe the failure, and provide visual evidence when requested. PIOLET may require prior inspection before authorizing any repair or replacement.

LEGAL NOTICE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Use of the product implies express acceptance of the terms in this warranty and in the user manual. Use of the chiller is under the user’s exclusive responsibility. The user declares awareness of the inherent risks of immersion in cold or hot water, as well as electrical and operating precautions. GRUPO PIOLETMEXA S.A.P.I. de C.V., its distributors, and representatives will not be liable for personal injury, property damage, economic loss, or direct or indirect damages arising from improper use of the equipment, inadequate installations, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modifications, failure to supervise vulnerable persons, use by minors, or use by persons with medical contraindications without professional approval. This product does not replace medical advice and is not a medical treatment. PIOLET’s maximum liability under this warranty will not exceed the amount actually paid for the product. PIOLET reserves the right to make technical or design changes without prior notice to improve the product.
